A note from France: I've been looking for wooden frames for awhile now, something that's easy to use and would go well with posters, art, prints, photos, or even textiles. Much like all the other pieces I curate in my shop, I wanted something that was well-made, handmade, and from a brand, artisan, or designer that has similar values of sustainability and slow living as I do. I finally stumbled upon Le Tenon and La Mortaise while sourcing for pieces and I'm so glad I did. Founders Caroline Roberge and Benoit St-Jean met at the École d'Ébénisterie d'Art de Montréal and dreamed of opening a workshop in the countryside. In 2016, their dream finally happened in Quebec and Le Tenon and La Mortaise was born.  With a focus on quality materials and traditional design methods, their creations are anchored in everyday life, embodying the strength of a well thought-out design that's made to last.

The magnetic wood frame is made of solid sugar maple wood, waxed cotton rope, and rare earth magnets. Use them for your photos, art, prints, posters, or fabrics. Artwork NOT included.
